Twoshoes and the Toast is a book that Emilie created in her third year of University. It contains poetry and ink paintings that revolve around the character "Twoshoes" stamping pieces of toast.

Emilie created the book to look like a large sandwich, which each colorful leaf of  paper being representative of "jam" that separated each section of work.

The poem Twoshoes and the Toast is inspired by her own recovery journey. During university she suffered with an eating disorder and I wanted to turn that horrible experience into something light-hearted and positive.

Emilie believe that everyone has a Twoshoes. It is important to accept them in order to find inner peace. She would like to inspire her audience to discover and integrate their own Twoshoes.
