Twoshoes and the Toast is a book that Emilie created in her third year of University. It contains poetry and ink paintings that revolve around the character "Twoshoes" stamping pieces of toast.

Emilie created the book to look like a large sandwich, which each colorful leaf of  paper being representative of "jam" that separated each section of work.

The poem Twoshoes and the Toast is inspired by her own recovery journey.
